Applying for a place

No catchment area exists & all applications are welcome.

We accept applications for our two year old nursery once a child is 18 months old and for our three-four year old nursery, after their second birthday.  Applications are available from the school office or you can print the application form here, complete it and drop it in to the school office.

Most of our intake starts in the Autumn term.  During the spring and early summer, we will invite you to the school to meet us and look around the nursery school.  We will talk about your child and you will have the chance to find out more about us, ask any questions and decide whether Holmewood is the right place for you and your child.  Following the meeting, we will contact you as soon as possible to offer you a place for your child, and ask you to confirm your acceptance. Towards the end of the summer term, you will be invited to our induction meeting during which you will have the opportunity to meet more of the staff.

Prior to your child's start date, your Key Person and one other member of staff would like the opportunity to visit you and your child in your home if you live nearby, otherwise we will invite you to visit your Key Person at school. This is an important stage in the settling in process for your child, as they get to meet staff in a relaxed way, preferably, in their own environment. During this time we will talk to you about your child's personality and the things they like and dislike.

You can read our full admissions policy here.

If you are interested in registering, please pop in to the school office to complete an application form; you can print the form here, complete it and drop it in to the school office or contact us.

You will be contacted once we receive your application to arrange an information session for you and your child to visit the school.

We look forward to meeting you soon.
